Black History Month! Listen to me clearly when I tell you that this is bigger than any one month. Black History is too big for one month and must be celebrated daily. Not to mention that someone attempted to give us the shortest month of the year (February). Me and my family (community) will celebrate Black History on a daily basis. There’s a wealth of Black History. I encourage everyone to do research on Black History and proudly share with the world. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Peace and blessings to all.

Dr. Huey P. Newton

Did you know that Huey P. Newton had a Ph.D. Dr. Newton co-founded the Black Panther Party with Bobby Seale. Dr.Newton was an activist and revolutionary who dedicated a portion of his life to educating and protecting the black community from being attacked by whites during the 1960’s. He founded the Oakland Community School and the free breakfast program for children.

Kru People

The Kru People are an African Tribe who refused to be taken as slaves. The  Kru People are an inspiration In most cases, the Kru People avoided capture. In other instances, they would fight to the death or even take their own lives before being captured.
