5. I am an addict in recovery. My youngest sons are both addicts. John is in detox right now. He has repeatedly tried to kill himself. So far God has thwarted his efforts. I can’t afford out of state long term treatment. They don’t keep them in treatment long enough. He has state insurance and they will only keep him a few days. He is homeless and was banned from the shelter for six months. My brother took me in. John has burned all his bridges for help. My youngest son called me to see if I had heard from him. He said that John gotten his check and mentioned suicide, and he wasn’t answering his phone. I made calls to different places out of state but had no luck. It’s so hard to see him suffering. Don’t know what to do. I can’t do it for him! If I could I would do it in a heartbeat. I pray your book will have a positive impact. When does it come out? I would like to give a copy to him. Meanwhile, I have my whole church praying for him. I would like to use my experience to help others also.

Just remember never to give up on self or your loved ones. You may be the needed inspiration that they need. I would like for you to stay in touch and keep me posted on your recovery.
